As much as I identify as a photographer, I identify as a painter. This is the tiny home studio I do a little of everything in- draw, screenprint, paint, edit photos, bingewatch sci-fi, and snuggle my cat. Simultaneously working to be a better photographer and a better painter has taught me so much about layout and lighting. In the same way that photographs have magical "bokeh" backgrounds, my illustrations feature abstract and painterly textures to make the subject front and center. Whether using a camera or a paintbrush, it's all about playing with color. I love painting starry skies, girls in STEM, nostalgic homesteading scenes, and children playing. Explore the links below to purchase art prints, commission an original, go behind the scenes in my studio, find a local shop that sells my work, and more. Thank you!
